Have a dream or a goal in mind? Get started! The garden has grown so much in four seasons. The first year, my sister and I split a 50’ by 50’ plot. Now she has her own farm, and I’m growing in that original garden, but we’ve added the high tunnel, hundreds of peonies, and another garden for dahlias. This year, we try again with a pumpkin patch and try to find room for more peonies! 🌸

In 2021, we bought a corner of my family’s dairy farm, and grew the flowers for our wedding celebration that summer. 2024- a season of incredible growth. This season was our most challenging and rewarding yet. 💐our garden doubled again. We successfully overwintered feverfew, snapdragons, delphinium, rudbeckia, calendula, and ranunculus to have early spring flower
2024- a season of incredible growth. This season was our most challenging and rewarding yet. 💐our garden doubled again. We successfully overwintered feverfew, snapdragons, delphinium, rudbeckia, calendula, and ranunculus to have early spring flowers in the high tunnel. 💐Pregnancy really forced me to slow down and let go of the need for perfection. Seeds didn’t get started, I neglected and killed many of the seeds I did start, and I did next to no weeding. My husband really stepped up and made things happen, and we still grew beautiful flowers, including 400+ dahlias. 💐We provided the flowers for twelve weddings 🥂 💐We added another 115 peony bushes and so many perennials to give us flowers year after year. 💐Most importantly I grew our little girl, and I can’t wait to be farming for her 🌸 Thank you to @windlace_photography for capturing the beauty of this season.
In my experience, ranunculus are pretty tricky to grow as a home gardener. They benefit from being started in January/February in a high tunnel. They fizzle out quickly in the heat, and without that slow, cool start, they don’t bloom. If you love them, I bought 900 corms to grow for our spring flower fans! 9 months pregnant and still planting! We’ve got 35 more peonies, and then we are done! 🌸 Couldn’t do it without my husband, and big thank you to my sister @peakseasonfloral for helping with the peonies!

Our self serve flower stand is open dawn-dusk, 7 days a week May-October. First come, first serve, as well as CSA pickup and custom arrangements.

Bouquets are arranged in mason jars. You are welcome to take the jar. Returned jars can be reused.
